Hi everyone, I'm writing to say how excited I am for our trip. My thoughts always go back to the kids and wondering how they are doing. Once you see these kids you will so fall in love with them. Watch out if you have a watch on as Diego will be attached to your wrist. He's such a sweetie. The miracle boy - his smile - his determination. Peter and Paul the twins - I never did find out which was which..lol
The little girls - Chelesa, Theresa - it broke my heart to put down Theresa that last day. She was snuggled into my chest as we had gotten them up a bit before their naps were done so we can say goodbye. sniffle...
Edwin - the little imp that never wanted to be put down and was light as a feather to hold. Pedro - who's mom brings to the neurological centre, Susie, Jenny, Wendy...and on and on...
YOU will fall in love with these kids. Wait until you meet the woman who runs this mission home. She is truly one amazing lady.
Fundraising - even you only raise $50 you would be amazed at what that could do. We are going to have such an amazing trip and our fearless leader..well she rocks. Now about Stephen - don't play spoons with him. That's all I am saying!
Cheers Hilary

Hey Everyone!! We had an AMAZING fundraiser at Carrotfest!!! Thanks to the wonderful people of Bradford, we have raised close to $900 by selling beautiful items we brought back from Guatemala! WOOHOO!! We still have lots left, so will sell more at one of the many sales that are held in the fall, as well as at the high school.
Does anyone else have any exciting fundraising events happening? Please share!!!
